Still dilated to right around 2cm and zero effacement. No action this week.
But, we did learn that he's a pirate! A healthy baby pirate. You can see for yourself.
See, his head is in profile on the left side of the picture, and then if you look right above his little face, you'll see his hand... in the shape of a HOOK! He's just showing us his inner pirate. And now, this will be his favorite shirt...
Grandma Gina must have known he was really a pirate inside.

I hate those kind of doctor's appointments! So disappointing! He'll come when he's ready!!! But I totally feel for you, I was there, not too long ago and so ready to be done! We have something for your little baby pirate, we'll have to get together soon!!!

this post is so cute! congrats. you should tell him to walk the plank already. You know, there is a show out there for little kids where they pretend to be pirates, called backyardigans, just heard of it. future tv show favorite!
what is effacement? Maybe if you jog around the block it will dilate you a little more :).
Drrr! You have no idea how happy this little post made me. Of course the Allens would have a pirate! Why didn't I think of it earlier? Everything is right in the world now.
