sometimes i do crafty things


I don't have a 'before' picture, but let's just say that I originally bought this dress for a 70's themed dance.  So, inspired by my friend Beckie, I decided this dress still had potential.  I hemmed the skirt and sleeves.  Then I used that fabric to make the flowery ruffles, which were inspired by this Shabby Apple dress.  I'm happy with it.  And I'm also happy with adding to my wardrobe without spending any money.

I love your refurbishing!!! Tres chic. I wish I could do stuff like that...alas, my post-two-babies rack already has too much attention drawn to it. Boo hoo. I hate boobs. They're overrated.
