Not like I'm counting or anything.
Except I totally am. Because, at this point, I have to stay in bed most of the time, icing my ribs, neck, or hips every few hours. You know it's bad when your doctor gives you Vicodin and muscle relaxants to take at the same time. While you're still pregnant. I'm really trying not to take them. Hence the ice.
The wonderful truth is that this baby girl is in no danger at all. She is healthy as can be. So, we are just plodding along, eating cereal for dinner, watching too much TV, and keeping up on our virtual farms. I am suppressing so many nesting urges and it's driving me nuts. I don't think she'll need therapy later in life because her nursery wasn't totally finished before she was born. Sure, for plenty of other things, but hopefully I'll be forgiven for that one.
So, I'll admit that we are counting down and hoping that these next three weeks and five days go by quickly. We are so excited for her to be here.

P.S. Just in case you're counting, too... The doctor wants to induce labor no later than 39 weeks. Hooray!!
Look at you, you're so beautiful! You're one of the strongest people I know, you can do anything for 3 weeks! Yay for healthy babies!
Glad your doctor wants to help you bring her into the world a little sooner. You're such a strong mommy! Glad that she'll be here before too long and that you can get comfortable again! :)
What an exciting time for the Allen family! And what a perfect excuse to use the next 3 weeks to give Henry lots of love before baby girl needs so much attention. Sending happy and healthy thoughts your way!
I wish I could come over and help you finish Baby Girl's nursery! Eliza doesn't even have a nursery--she has a bassinet & a swing in our room. It was hard to not fluff up a corner of the world for her before she arrived. And the girls' room has two-toned paint, neither color a shade I like, with curtains that don't match, bedding that doesn't match, and only one small section of wall with art. I have grand plans for their room, but little time and even less money! I'm such a nester, too--it's hard to ignore. I hope you get a few more things done before the little one arrives--via other people's hands, if need be! And I hope your induction goes well--I've had one and it went great for me. Best and happiest of wishes winging their way to you!
I'm so excited for you! You look adorable, if not totally uncomfortable, but adorable none the less. Love you to pieces and can't wait for your little one!
I'm so excited for you Julie!! Good luck on these last weeks. YOU CAN DO IT! :)
