let's get on with it

The year 2013 was straight up Dickensian for us Allens.  The best, the worst and all that stuff.  

As such, I personally, am thrilled to get on with a new year.  Everything being all best and all worst is a little too overwhelming for me.  How about we just keep things even keel, 2014?

We celebrated early, at 7:00 PM, to be precise (Midnight in Argentina?).  This afternoon, Henry and I purchased a New Years Eve Party In A Box from Target.  This evening, we had Lexi, Georgia, Hazel, and Gina over for pizza.  And at 6:59:50 we started our ten second countdown and then rung in the new year with noise makers and crackers.  

Oh, it was fabulous, as you can imagine.

And now the children are in bed.  And I don't think Matthew and I will make it to midnight either.
