easy sunday

About a month ago, we unwittingly allowed a super virus into our home.  Oops.  For Henry, who fell first, that meant a double ear infection and one round of antibiotics.  For Charlotte, one ear infection, one sinus infection and a wicked cough.  And antibiotics for her, too.  For Matthew, an intensely painful sinus infection and, you guessed it, antibiotics!  I held out strong until this week.  And I haven't gone in for my antibiotics yet...  Maybe I can buck the trend.

Anyway, we took it easy today.  Recuperation and all.

Henry worked on some great works of art. 

Charlotte crawled over and drooled on a book about great works of art.  

And I perfected this work of art.  (Matthew's birthday is on Tuesday!!  Yay!!)

We also made a Sunday treat, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.  Charlotte wanted to be held, so I tried keeping her in the carrier while I was mixing the dough.  It actually worked well, and she was sad to be taken out when it came time for me to put them in the oven.  (She is eyeing that pot, but don't worry, the stove is not on.)

Nom nom.

Hopefully we can all kick this virus soon.  We have some fun plans in the next few weeks and we need to be at our best!
